Dipika Mukherjee's first poem was published in a newspaper in Wellington, New Zealand -- when she was 10 years old. Despite having lived and worked in many countries since then, the muse has always followed, and writing is now clearly an obsession.
She is represented by Nicola Barr.
She is currently Professor 211 at the Institute of Linguistic Studies at Shanghai International Studies University and a Fellow at the International Institute for Asian Studies in Leiden, The Netherlands. She divides her time between Chicago, Delhi, Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai, calling all four cities home.
